Our rehab team provides the best care that challenges our residents in a way that enables them to reach their maximum potential while working closely with their family who will be encouraged to participate in the process.

Physical Therapy

Treatment may include:

  • Improve overall strength conditioning, range of motion and endurance
  • Pain management
  • Strength and mobility in the body and lower extremities
  • Motor control for a resident who has suffered a stroke
  • Coordination, balance and the ability to walk following a fracture

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy helps our residents to acclimate to their environment by acquiring the tasks needed for their everyday life. Our therapists work closely with our residents who have difficulty with these daily tasks and assist them to operate well in their environment.

Treatment may include:

  • Independence with: eating, bathing, toileting, homemaking, cooking, etc.
  • Preventing further disability, including home assessments and modifications
  • Safety
  • Wellness: dressing and grooming

Speech Therapy

Our speech therapists will work with residents suffering from hearing impairment, respiratory illnesses, and complex medical conditions.

Treatment may include:

  • Speech and voice clarity
  • Comprehension and verbal expression
  • Improved chewing and swallowing ability
  • Cognitive language skills: memory, problem-solving, and abstract reasoning
  • Resident and family education and training for dealing with ongoing difficulties with communication, cognition, and swallowing
